Wade Ceramics has joined up with children's favourites Mr Men and Little Miss to produce a range of exclusive ceramic collectibles both for retail sale and the Official Wade Collectors Club. The first collection of Mr Men and Little Miss ceramics go on sale next month and include three models, Mr Bump, Little Miss Giggles, Little Miss Sunshine, plus a Mr Bump in his car money box. Wade Ceramics will continue to add a number of products to the range in the form of figurines, money boxes, wall clocks and, of course, its famous Whimsies.

Contract and collectibles manager at Wade Ceramics, Jenny Wright said: "Wade has been producing miniature figures since the 1950's and we are delighted to be able to work with the Mr Men and Little Miss licence."

She continued: "Not only is it a strong and well recognised brand with a range of established characters but we feel that these characters will translate perfectly into collectable ceramics."

The first Mr Men book was published in 1971 and 10 years later the Little Miss series was born. When creator Roger Hargreaves passed away in 1988 he had created 70 different characters.
