Stoke-based collectables company Wade Ceramics has invested
heavily in the future of its collectables facility.
All Wade collectables production is now based at the company's
historic Royal Victoria Pottery site which involved a move of
facilities from its Royal Works factory across the road. Taking
three months, the move is now in the final stages of completion.
More than £300,000 has been invested in moving one of
the existing kilns to the new site as well as introducing a
second working kiln, improving the layout in production and
introducing a new computer aided design (CAD) studio which offers
more natural light and state-of-the-art design facilities.
Managing director at Wade Ceramics, Paul Farmer commented:
"We've seen many benefits from this move including increased
production efficiency, reduced overheads and most importantly
a real improvement in team morale, as all our employees are
now based at the Royal Victoria Pottery site.
"Our new, improved design studio and facilities will allow
our designers greater creativity so our collectors can look
forward to even more exciting designs."
Established in 1810, Wade Ceramics has been famous since the
1950's for producing a wide range of original and inventive
collectable ceramics.
