heartburn. Chivas Brotrhers has designed a special edition of

It was way back in 1953 a time for crowning glories.
Sir Edmund Hillary took a giant step, becoming the first man
on earth to reach the summit of Mount Everest. The extraordinary
feat was announced just as Queen Elizabeth II was preparing
to ascend the throne of England.
ssIt was time for celebration and festivity. We at Chivas Brothers,
decided to pay a special tribute to the Queens coronation.
And so, another legend was born. Royal Salute an exceptional
Scotch whisky blended from Scotlands finest and most precious
whiskies was created as a gesture of respect from Chivas
Brothers to the new sovereign., says the Duke of Argyll,
co-owner of the brand.
The first bottle of the limited edition Royal Salute 50 Year
Old is being presented to Sir Edmund Hillary a tribute
to his magnificent achievement 50 years ago.fifty per cent of
the bottles have been reserved for corporate bigwigs.
