Leading
ceramics specialist Wade Ceramics has been commissioned to produce
2000 limited edition money boxes for Logistics company, Eddie
Stobart Ltd.
The collectable gift will feature Eddie Stobart's popular "Steady
Eddie" character, a cartoon-style truck whose adventures
are featured in a range of children's books and videos.
Designed to appeal to enthusiasts of both Eddie Stobart and
Wade Ceramics, the money box is an exact likeness of its namesake.
Promotions manager at Eddie Stobart, Linda Shore remarked:
"Wade was an obvious choice for us when deciding who would
create the money box.
"The company has created a number of items for us in the
past including a special limited edition money box based on
one of the modern articulated vehicles owned by Eddie Stobart
and more recently a ceramic truck based on a Veteran Atkinson.
"Both items have proved extremely popular with both Wade
enthusiasts and Eddie spotters alike."
With over 10,000 members in the Wade Ceramics Official Collectors
Club and more than 25,000 in Eddie Stobart's Fan Club, collectors
will have to be quick to ensure they secure a Steady Eddie of
their own.
Established in 1810, Wade Ceramics has been famous since the
1950's for producing a wide range of original and inventive
collectable ceramics for high profile companies to use in promotional
schemes.
