The nation’s best-loved tea, Tetley, is continuing its popular range of Wade collectables with an appealing cartoon aeroplane.

The latest collectable, which features the well known Gaffer character at the controls of the single propeller plane, underlines Tetley’s commitment to its Tea Folk fans following the brand’s recent change in advertising.

An initial run of just 1,000 pieces is planned, each carrying the valuable Wade back stamp to ensure they will increase in value over coming years. And to further enhance collectability, every single item will bear the designer, Cyril Roberts' initials.

Tetley has worked with Wade since 1989 to create a number of innovative and successful ceramics that have both promoted product purchase and customer loyalty.

As with all Wade branded items, earlier Tea Folk collectables have accumulated in value and are now much in demand in the secondary collectors market.
