Wade Ceramics is bringing a little sunshine into the rainy
month of April with the first of its collector fairs for 2002.
The first fair of the year is a popular event, regularly attracting
up to 1,000 Wade fans. Many local people attend but some fans
travel from as far afield as the US and Canada, hoping to find
an elusive missing piece, buy exclusive fair collectables or
simply meet the team behind their favourite ranges.
Two charming new ranges, Pig Styles and Hip Hippos will be
launched at the fair with the first figure of each ("Twirly
Whirley" and "Born to be Sleepy") on sale on
the day alongside Lil' Easter Time - a sequel to the massively
popular Lil' Devil figure at the last fair.
Event organisers are welcoming seasoned fair collectors and
members of the Wade Club as well as non-members and first time
visitors to Stoke-on Trent's King's Hall venue on April 21st.
Entrance to the fair is just £3.00 with a special edition
pearlised bunny Whimsie free to every paying entrant from 10.30am
as usual.
The Collector's Club team is already taking bookings for the
hospitality evening which takes place the night before the fair
and features the usual mix of game, quizzes and Wade news.
