Wade Ceramics Extravaganza is gearing up to welcome around 1,000 visitors at Trentham Gardens on Sunday, October 14.
The event is the third of its kind staged by the Burslem-based company. Wade has produced two figures for its Cuties range launched at a similar occasion in April, Poppy the Pig and Major the Lion.

In addition, the firm – famed for its whimsie figurines – is producing a special "fair piece" at the request of managing director Paul Farmer.

Fifty of the figurines will be on sale during the day with up to 50 more available on a first come, first served basis.

More than 35 Wade dealers will be present alongside the "official" Wade team to offer expert advice on the company's products. Entrance to the 10.30am and 3pm air is £3 which includes a special reproduction duck whimsie.
