Whereas the Kansas City Wade Fair 2001 will occur May 25-27 at the Kansas City Westin Crown Center Hotel, hosting Wade collectors from across the United States and

Whereas, Wade Ceramics Limited is the United Kingdom’s leading producer of porcelain ceramics around the world, producing a delightful variety of items praised the world over for their quality and their charm; and

Whereas, Wade’s designers, modelers, painters and entire creative team work to make sure that the ceramics produced are only the finest; and

Whereas, for the Kansas City Wade Fair 2001, the company has produced figures from the Wizard of Oz, the classic tale by L. Frank Baum. In addition to Dorothy, Ozma, and the Cowardly Lion, Wade’s Head Modeller Ken Holmes has created plaques with a Wizard of Oz theme for collectors to enjoys; and

Whereas, this fair will feature a number of dealers and collectors and will provide an ideal opportunity for Wade lovers to gather and share together their hobby in happiness and friendship,
