Magazine to Promote Wade Collectables!

A new magazine devoted entirely to Wade Collectables may soon be hitting the market! Hachette Publications has contacted Wade about the possibility of launching a magazine the offers readers a free whimise or other Wade piece with each issue. Four test issues are being planned for 2007. If all goes well, the magazine will go to the UK in 2008 and then internationally.

Search is on for New Site Near Spiritual Home

The search is on for a new home for Wade Ceramics. The current area where Wade is located in Burslem at Hill Top Works is where new high quality houses and apartments are being built. The current factory will make way for similar buildings. Wade will still be close to the city of Stoke-on-Trent.

With Wade's new machinery, they require much less room to produce their wares. So a new state-of-the-art smaller facility would make the pottery more cost effective and competitive - thus safeguarding jobs in the future. Wade has received a grant offer from Advantage West Midlands for a new factory investment.

Two New Members Join the 25 Year Society!

Wade once again held their yearly long service award dinner. This year, 2 more employee's joined the club with 25 years of service! Wade produced a service plaque for the employees to commemorate their service.

Wade now has 25 employees that have 25 or more years service. Together they share 815 years of pottery experience in Wade!
