Commissioned Moneyboxes
100 samples were originally produced for an Esso Petroleum promotion. This promotion did not take place and the moneyboxes were stored away and forgotten about. It is believed that they were produced in the 1970's because of the glaze that is similar to the Anglia Survival Animals. The moneyboxes were later "found" during an office move at the Wade Factory. The moneyboxes were sold at the 1997 Wade Christmas Extravaganza for £200 each. 20 were saved for the Buffalo, USA Wade Show but 5 were broken in transit leaving only 95 models.
