For many years, Wade collectors thought that this was produced by Wade. But then other collectors said it was not by Wade. Without a backstamp, it was all speculation and the pice could not be documented. Information has now surfaced from Wade Ceramics that a limited number of samples were produced for Mars and it is a rare piece with few examples of this moneybox.
