Commissioned Moneyboxes
The moneybox is based on a hot air balloon named "Piggles." The moneybox was issued in 1999 and 2002 which yielded two slighly different moneyboxes due to the mold being retooled. The easiet way to tell the difference is that the 1999 version has eyebrows and has the "Wade Est 1810 England" backstamp. The 2002 version has a red "WADE" backstamp. There is a slight variaion in the pink color and the width of the gold coin between the two issues. It is belived that 500 of each pig were produced to make the total edition of 1,000.
