The supposed story behind the white coat pigs is that a paintress at Wade produced 2 of these as samples. This story was reported on a news program on TV in the UK. Just look and see that we have photos of more than 2 being offered from eBay.

Wade does not have any knowledge or record of this pig ever being produced in this colorway even as a prototype! These pieces are definitely counterfeits and it is best to avoid ALL pigs with white coats!

The interesting thing is that these first started appeared on the market late 2004. Wade Ireland produced this model but the factory had been closed for a number of years before that. All of the NatWest Pig models have been faked and forged now.

NatWest Merry Christmas Pig??? Now how would anyone think that this pig would be real? This pig is completely decked out for the holidays with Christmas sprit. This pig is dressed up in his tuxedo complete with a "Merry Christmas" slogan splashed across his front! I do not think that this could be any further from the Wade standard - yet it is sold as Wade - complete with a faked embossed "Wade England" as a backstamp!

NatWest Happy Birthday Pig?? Well we guess that if there was a Merry Christmas pig, there might as well be a "Happy Birthday from the Westminster Piggies" pig! This piece seems to have decals made from copies of the font that was originally from the Piggy Press magazines.
